On Sunday, 12 July 2015, the first-ever Disability Pride NYC Parade will take place in New York City. The day will be a celebration of people with disabilities and the 25th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The Parade will begin from Madison Square Park and proceed down Broadway to Union Square Park. It will end at Union Square Park where the celebration will culminate with entertainment.
We look forward to a great celebration with musicians, elected officials, celebrities and people from all over the city and the world.
DATE OF PARADE: 12 July
PARADE FORMATION TIME: 10:00 AM
PARADE START TIME: 12 PM, NOON
PARADE ROUTE: Madison Square Park, traveling down Broadway to Union Square Park
You are welcome to join Team United Nations if you are a UN staff member with a disability, a care-giver or if you just want to hang out with friends and show support the work of the UN for persons with disabilities!
