Each year, the Rehabilitation International General Assembly meets to report on the work achieved and the road ahead. In 2016, the GA meeting coincided with the 23rd Annual World Congress, put on by partner Shaw Trust in Edinburgh, Scotland. Delegates also oversaw the changing of the RI Global guard, including the transitioning of the presidency from Jan Monsbakken to Zhang Haidi, of the China Disabled People’s Federation.
